Mahakam Lampion Garden
A visitor guide for Mahakam Lampion Garden, a lantern park on the riverside in Samarinda. It covers ticket prices, opening hours, how to get there, and a photo gallery of twelve spots around the park.

Overview
Mahakam Lampion Garden is bathed in the glow of thousands of colorful lanterns at night, and this website provides visitors with everything they need to know before arriving. The homepage introduces the park's features such as lanterns shaped like global landmarks and local creatures, riverside sunset views, and a food court showcasing local Samarinda small businesses as well as family-friendly amenities like parking, gazebos, restrooms, and prayer facilities.
Problem
People planning a visit had basic questions with no easy answers like how much is a ticket, is the weekend price different, what time does it open, can I pay by QRIS, is there parking. Most of it lived in scattered social media posts, and there was no way to see what the park actually looks like inside before deciding to go.
Solution
One website answering each question on its own page, so nothing is buried. Prices, hours and payment methods sit together on the ticket page. The address comes with a map you can open directly for directions. The gallery does the persuading. Twelve photos walking through the park in the order you'd actually experience it, each explained in a sentence or two, so visitors know what to expect before buying a ticket.
Challenges
The gallery was the part that needed thinking through. Writing twelve photo blocks by hand would have meant editing the same markup twelve times, and any change to the design would mean twelve edits again. So the photos and their descriptions are stored as a list, and the page builds the cards from it automatically and adding a new photo means adding one line. The other challenge was showing a night-time park honestly. The lanterns look their best in the dark, but a website that's too dark becomes hard to read, so the design leans on the photos for atmosphere while keeping the text plain and legible.
Result
A five-page visitor guide covering the park's information, tickets, location, gallery and contacts. It gives Mahakam Lampion Garden a proper home online. One link that answers what people keep asking, instead of the same questions repeating in the comments. My credit appears in the footer of every page.
